Lung sound has been an important indicator of clinical diagnosis since the 18th century. Auscultation collects adventitious sounds and symptoms, which are indicators for pathological conditions as respiratory stenosis, obstruction, spasm, pulmonary edema, inflammation, fibrosis, secretion, and infiltration. Since breathing sound symptoms arise far earlier than medical image changes in many cardio-pulmonary diseases, and with imaging tools often requiring substantial lesions to be seen, auscultation will always remain an important means of clinical diagnosis. We have developed an omnichannel remote unmanned auscultation system. It can be attached to the human body, record the breathing sound, identify send alerts for adventitious breath sound. It can be used during anesthesia and serve as long-term monitoring in the ICU, achieving the goal of continuous monitoring, instant alerts, and timely treatment.
