United BioPharma (UBP) was established in September 2013 as a spinoff company from UBI Asia, taking UBI Asia’s entire monoclonal antibody (mAb) pharmaceutical business, including product rights, technologies, R&D teams, and manufacturing facilities. UBP focuses on developing, manufacturing, and marketing integrated therapeutic mAb products and related technologies. UBP currently has about 90 employees. Among them, 70% are in R&D and 75% have a master’s degree or higher. UBP facilities include three sites: a clinical development center in Biomedical Science Part (Chubei City, Hsinchu County), an R&D and manufacturing center in Hsinchu Industrial Park (Hukou, Hsinchu County), and a business center in Taipei 101 (Taipei City).
